First of all, what you're gonna read here are based on my experiences. I'm not telling you to follow each and every step, I'm just giving you a bit of advice. No haters please 😅
So paano nga ba mag apply?
- Prepare your resume - the shorter the better. Most of the recruiters won't spend time reading each and everyone's resume lalo na sa gantong field, there are thousands of applicants. If you can summarize everything in 1 page mas ok. If you can't, then put all the important details on the first page like your previous experiences or kung san kayo nag OJT.
- Look for job openings - Usually, you can find it on the airlines' website "Careers" section. Or for international airlines like SAUDIA, QatarAirways, Emirates or Oman Air, you will find the job postings on local agencies like IPAMS - which is the agency that handles most of the middle eastern airlines.
tip: since almost everyone are already on facebook, you can like some pages like flyhighmanila, flygosh or palexpress madalas sila yung nag po post pag may openings. You can also try IPAMS facebook pages.
- QUALIFICATIONS - every airline has different qualifications so it is important to read carefully what is written on the job postings. Most of the local airlines require applicants have a bachelor's degree but for middle eastern airlines, they accept high school graduates.
PHILIPPINE AIRLINES
Requirements
- Filipino Citizen
- Minimum Age: 18 Years Old
- College Degree Holder
- Can Speak English & Filipino
- Female Applicants At Least 5’3”
- Male Applicants At Least 5’6”
CEBU PACIFIC
Basic Qualifications:
- At least a height of 5'3 for females and 5'7 for males.
- Must be 18 years and above. SHS graduates and college undergraduates are welcome to apply.
- No visible tattoos.
- Proficient in the Filipino and English language.
- Willing to be assigned outside of Metro Manila

- Prepare your business attire - please don't go on an interview with casual clothes. On some job openings, they will specifically tell you what to wear or how your hair should be but for most of the job posting it indicates "business attire". For females - you must wear skirt, blouse, blazer and business shoes (preferably with heels - mas maganda yung posture pag naka heels 😉 ) please don't wear sandals kasi hindi sya mukang professional. For males - trouser, polo with or without coat and tie and of course business shoes. For females - apply makeup wag masyadong OA yung tama lang for professional look. For males- put some hair gel pero wag wet look and mas better kung walang mustache para clean look.
- APPLY - Check the location, estimate how much time you need for preparation and your travel. Be early, at least 30mins so you can observe what is happening and you will not be in rush.
tip: when you arrive sa venue try to go to the toilet, check your grooming and release your nervousness.
